saw a pic you posted of the Preservation pub, which led me to your pic of the poop warning...There is an old chinese proverb which says you can't warn someone not to crap in a fountaing....Ok, there isn't a chinese proverb that says that but there should be...Long story short I ended up on your website and am still enjoying your songs 30-something minutes later...So, thanks for the songs and I suppose the pictures too.

Merrill, I'm a friend of Matt's. He told me you are his best friend. When I asked about you he told me you are a singer. He said you sing to him a lot and gave me the web address for your music. When I listened to your music I was more than impressed. It is so soothing and peaceful, heartfelt, and loving. I had told Matt something along those lines: "I really like her music, she has an amazing talent and it's great that she uses it to express herself and it makes people happy; I know 'cause it makes me happy!" hey, i just stumbled upon your site from the hws homepage. and i've heard of you playing on and around campus, unfortunately i've never made it to one of those performances. but anyways, i just listened to all of the songs you have on your page here anddd they're really good. you have a lot of talent. and i've always been one to pay particular attention to lyrics, and i reallyyyy love yours. they're so intricate and passionate. i can relate to a lot of the songs too, which made listening to them even better. stick with what you're doing for sure! i'm no expert but my guess is you're gonna go places :) thanks for the great music.
